Icon Arts is the studio of Orthodox icon writer Irene Perez-Omer.
She has studied Byzantine icon writing since 1997 with the Prosopon School of Iconology. She holds a Fine Arts degree from the University of Texas at Austin and has been active as an artist since 1985. She currently writes icons for private and church commissions. She has exhibited her icons throughout the United States and her work is included in many private and church collections in the US and Latin America. Ms. Perez-Omer also holds weekly iconography classes in her studio in Austin, TX.
